This is probably just the unfortunate result of an insufficient
number of eyes for testing sample implementations.  Most SRFIs do
have extensive tests, but it's hard to find time to review SRFIs,
let alone to get a sample implementation and its tests running on
at least one Scheme.  Arthur does his best here; if you subscribe
to any of the SRFI mailing list, you've probably noticed that he
strongly encourages everyone to run the tests before the SRFI is
finalized.

So the proper plea is for more reviewers!
