Maybe, given the particular constraints of 500LOLS, getting
together only a portable user-space functional package manager
is not impossible.
I keep coming back to this issue of build-systems and package manager.
I tried to strip down existing functional package managers features to achieve
my goal of being able to quickly install and run scheme programs that may
rely on shared libraries without superuser rights. I think I will drop the "services" part.
Instead of building something new, one could rely on VM or LXC or chroot to run
nix or guix but that doesn't offer the smooth experience I am expecting.
/me back to SRFI-167 and SRFI-168
