gitea.scheme.org had accumulated many more spam accounts, which I just
deleted.

The bots have apparently got smart enough to bypass the CAPTCHA that we
enabled in the wake of the initial spambot swarm.

Hence, I had to enable manual confirmation of new accounts. If you
register for an account at https://gitea.scheme.org/user/sign_up, it
goes into a queue and I have to manually activate it.

We could also enable email confirmation for new accounts, but if the
bots are smart enough to defeat CAPTCHA, I assume they can reply to
emails as well.
