The essential features of Docker have been - apparently successfully! -
standardized industry-wide via the OCI (Open Container Initiative).

This should mean that most containers built for any of these runtimes
work with any of the others. The official site is at

I think Jakub meant simple instructions to type things like "apt-get
install such-and-such" without involving containers, though.
