Thank you for investigating it. I'm sure there is lots of similarly
valuable stuff in the archives.

It would be nice to gather most of the Scheme-related mailing list
archives and publish them in a standard format under
https://lists.scheme.org/. With a consistent web UI and good search.

Don't newsgroup messages use similar RFC822 headers? If so, perhaps we
could publish a comp.lang.scheme archive next to the list archives.
