I am absolutely not surprised.  You will notice that there is no test
suite for the code, and I am sure it is full of bugs.  That is one of
the reasons (though API complexity is the more important reason) why
I want to abandon SRFI 114.  The only finalized SRFI that currently
depends on it is SRFI 113, and I will issue an (informal) erratum
to make 113 depend on 128 when the latter is finalized.
