I agree, but I don't think getting agreement on new standard lexical
syntax for this, that, and the other is going to be very practical.
If we had a hashtable tradition (and I'm glad we don't, it introduces
phasing problems), people would add lexical syntax as a matter of course.
But our standards can't even agree on lexical syntax for bytevectors!
There are no lexical syntax extensions that I can think of that are even
common among implementations, except those for syntax-case.
