OK, I'll still plan on finishing the deque implementation. I would indeed like to see an immutable set/bag/map SRFI. I'm partial to a finger tree implementation of those, but I'd certainly welcome alternative implementations as described up-thread. I have a lot on my professional and family plate so sadly I'm not finding many big chunks of time to do challenging implementation work.
