Conceptually, zip on sequences other than lists transforms a list of
sequences to a sequence of lists, though the input is passed as
multiple arguments that Scheme materializes as a list rather than as
an explicit list.

I'm not opposed to them, but I don't quite know what they're for, so
I left them out. If someone can explain them, I'll put them back.
