I've found a further error in the sample implementation.
The @vector= comparison returns an unspecified value when called
with more than two vectors.

I've fixed this and opened a pull request to John's repo.

This probably slipped through due to the lack of a test for the
variadic case of @vector=.  I've added one which should be included
in the pull request.
