I agree.  Until R7RS-large is done, (scheme comparator) should have
some (0 x y) version, which will then be tagged (1 0 0) (or even (7 0
0)) when the large language is finalized.

But also SRFIs outside the "scheme" namespace would benefit from
keeping track of a version. See, for example, the recent change to
reduce-right in SRFI 1, which is, technically, more than an erratum.
We certainly don't want to allot a new SRFI number for such a change
(so that the list library would now be SRFI 244 and no longer SRFI 1),
but currently, a program has no way to check what version of the SRFI
is implemented by a particular library implementation.  Some
versioning would help here as well but I wasn't able to persuade
Arthur.
