GMP has an interface that works directly on the level of limbs. These
could, in principle, be more or less directly become an internal
representation of Scheme bitvectors.

The FSF folks seem to be very strict about these things, so I thought
it might be important.

BTW, when the time has come. the +75 will surely have become a +175,
just to satisfy the media industry.
