I've just published draft #11 of SRFI 231. It was submitted by Bradley J. Lucier, author of the SRFI.

Bradley has asked me to announce last call for this SRFI. He believes that it is ready for finalization, but would like to give reviewers one last chance to submit corrections and feedback before we finalize it.

In particular, I appeal to anyone reading this to try the sample implementation, run the tests, and send feedback about your results.

If you're interested in this SRFI, please give your feedback via the SRFI 231 mailing list before 2022-06-24. After that, assuming that no major revisions are required, we will declare it final. It is important that we get your feedback before 2022-06-24. If that deadline is too soon for you, but you would like to contribute, please let me know so that I can extend the last-call period.

I'm happy to have another draft and another two-week last call.

I think I've addressed every issue brought up since the more recent last call—some things I implemented, and some from John Cowan I added to the SRFI document as examples and some I decided I didn't want in this SRFI.

Here is the commit summary:

• %%indexer-0: Avoid generating closure
• Add explicit dimension 0 code, add error checks to routines returning immutable arrays.
• Fix typo
• Add comment on how to simplify the sample implementation.
• Fix typos and clumsy writing.
• Fix storage-class-data->body for {c64|c128}-storage-class

• Use %%make-safe-immutable-array only in array-{curry|tile}
