There is no problem with multiple SRFIs having the same name. Vide the several SRFIs called ‘records’ (9, 57, 99, 131 – according to the SRFI metadata, that is)

The number is always used as well as the name, to disambiguate.

If we are making gratuitous incompatible changes to SRFI identifier names after finalization, perhaps you could take another look at my email from 8 December listing a whole raft of errors.
