One particular thing that bit me just a couple of days ago was
inconsistent behavior of length+ on dotted lists across
implementations. See https://github.com/shirok/Gauche/issues/1304

It might be worth extending / clarifying length+ spec in the context of
dotted lists.

Not sure if this belongs to SRFI 274, use your judgement.
