I'm sorry everybody.  I grabbed the wrong message to reply to, and
wound up sending something related to an offline discussion of extended
I/O primitives to the SRFI-40 list.

I'm sorry.  What I posted yesterday has nothing to do with SRFI-40,
and should be ignored in the context of that discussion. Today I
will resend to the people actually involved.
