Scott: pop to the meta-level.

You don't have to believe Bear or Brad or me to believe that several
otherwise reasonable people seem to have a lot of skepticism here.

Withdrawing to reset the clock would give everybody an opportunity to
step back and think why this seemingly sanely intended SRFI doesn't
seem to really work out.

Do the honorable thing:  withdraw to reset the clock.
