One problem with it, if I remember correctly, is that if Donald Duck uploads a package under the name (srfi 666), which may have its share of problems, and Mickey Mouse wants to upload an improved version of (srfi 666), this is not possible unless Mickey has the credentials of Donald, who will own (srfi 666) forever.
