Just as a temporary bodge, is it possible to install the exiting content
of the schemers.org as the content of scheme.org?

I wouldn't mind volunteering to clean it up from outdated links. A
native English speaker could volunteer to add an introduction about what
the future architecture of the level3.scheme.org hives should eventually
become.

That is no substitute for a proper Scheme community infrastructure, but
better than nothing.
