Re: HTML Custom Elements to help in SRFI writing?

Hi y’all,
Putting aside the issue of Custom Elements forever, I agree with Arthur
(with the exception of the LLM point:) HTML is the best format for
SRFIs. It’ll likely exist forever and is probably the most widely
supported hypertext format out there. I mean yeah, Gemtext exists, but
it’s sooooooo under-specified and under-powered. HTML can be abused
horrendously and might / will differ between different authors, but
that’s simply a consequence of its power.
For those who want a machine-processable SRFI information, there is
https://github.com/schemeorg-community/scheme-index (that powers
index.scheme.org and scheme-index.aartaka.me.) It is incomplete, but
quite expansive already. Help improving it, and we’ll all have a good
machine-readable SRFI reference!
Thanks,
