You're welcome.  And about the Gauche DBI you found?  Whatever merits
it has a framework, especially to be mined for ideas, as far as I can
tell it doesn't buy us much in terms of databases it supports, all I
could find using multiple search engines match the official list here:

MySQL in addition to PostgreSQL, and SQLite3.
