I pushed what I have and included in the commit message documentation
about which tests are failing and that I think the problem is mostly
with the ooo/quasi-syntax macros -this is the area where I would
really need help to make the var syntax work. Otherwise I can take
that syntax out. Either way, if I had a more concrete idea about how
to make the specification clearer for people who wanted to implement
it from scratch, I could work on that.
