Regarding the nesting rule: Perhaps it should be an error to write two #; tokens in a row? It's not something humans are likely to do, and since the syntax is for human convenience (not for macros) it's not something likely to come up in a macro transformer. That permits at least three implementations: 1. Signal an error. 2. Use the "logical" rule favored by current implementations. 3. Use the "intuitive" rule favored by Paul and I. -- Bradd W.
