None of the other Schemes in my test suite use it for anything:
they report lexical syntax errors, or undefined variables, or
ignore the # and treat it as a string.
Overall, though, I don't think a new lexical syntax is necessary, given
that so many SRFI 135 operations support strings as arguments.
