Given that the fascicle for this SRFI is still quite some way over the horizon, and the issues here quite complex, I don’t have the time and attention to understand and think about them deeply and respond promptly.

While we obviously disagree here, I trust your judgement and reasoning and believe that you can produce a sound and well-designed SRFI without my deep attention to this issue. Moreover, I am not the dictator of R7RS large anyway: when it comes to decisions on technical matters, I am just one member of the working group, as are you; here on the SRFI mailing lists, I am just another random Schemer.

With that said, I want to stress again that my personal views, misunderstandings, questions, proposals etc. should not hold up the progress and finalization of this SRFI. There is nothing I have to add which could not be resolved after finalization when this SRFI is considered for inclusion in R7-large.
