We should ask Scheme.org's registrant Magnus what he thinks. The current scheme.org server does track IP addresses in the classical sense that it keeps an ordinary nginx access log. This is p In principle, some of the analytics scripts from big-name companies like Google are also claimed to anonymize their statistics. But in their case the claim is quite suspect. Big companies often have multiple teams and departments who don't know about each other's policies, and sometimes they simply break promises or change policies.
