The Lisp family's mindshare is small enough as it is :) It's good to
avoid gratuitous differences. By making it easier to move around between
Lisp dialects, we at least stand a chance of retaining and attracting a
few more people.

Agreed as I'm also not a fan of Haskell's baroque read syntax. But
Clojure is already using "->", and Scheme has long used it as part of
names as well.
