Sure, but Scheme stands out because we always think we can do it
better (at least this is what motivates me :)). Just copying something
from another language means copying all design flaws as well and even
introducing design flaws because what has made perfect sense in the
other language may only make partial sense in Scheme. Moreover,
improving things so that the best version of whatever is included in
Scheme is the best argument to attract programmers.
