Ratings (and download counts and other statistics) can be directly included
in the repo.  The next step (any day now) in the snow-fort website is to make
the code browseable.  After that we can consider live comments on the code,
though probably stored out-of-band from the repo itself.

There are a lot of details to work out :)

The basis of the distributed network aspect - sibling repositories - is already
in place.  I realize this was not clear from the docs and updated:
