Do you think Gitea has a low enough barrier to entry that it doesn't
present an obstacle to discussion? It should have email reminders of
comments, but we probably don't have that set up yet.

Since you're focused on R7RS-large I don't expect you to stray outside
of SRFI, but I appreciate it if you do. If Scheme Review takes off I
hope to play a small role among many others so you can talk to people
who are more pleasant :) Somebody just has to bootstrap the thing.

In the current draft (https://groups.scheme.org/review/2022-2.html) there is

(symbol-append object ...) -> symbol

which concatenates many kinds of things into a symbol.

Would you like to have a similar

(string-append* object ...) -> string

It may be prudent that only one of (aref foo 0) and (aref 'foo 0) works.
